In response to requests for parking within Steveston’s lanes, the City has reviewed locations where parking can be safely implemented. Bylaw amendments to permit parking within lanes were endorsed on September 9, 2024 and formalized parking stalls will be established, as shown in the picture to the right.

Parking stalls will be available to Steveston business owners and employees through a one-year permit parking pilot program. Business owners and employees working within the Village can apply to the City for a parking permit at a monthly rate. Permit holders will have access to full-day parking within marked lane parking stalls on a first come, first served basis.
