    Thanks very much for your inquiry and comments. 

    McLean Neighbourhood Park is among our top ranked priorities in the citywide Playground Replacement Program and we anticipate beginning the planning and design process in 2024 with implementation in 2025. We do not typically have gated enclosures around our public playgrounds in order to create a seamless interface with the surrounding park and avoid impeding access for users. Through the planning and design process we will explore and develop specific approaches that prioritize universal accessibility and meet all applicable safety standards.
