The City of Richmond is developing a new 10-year Child Care Strategy. Based on input collected during previous engagement, the Draft Child Care Strategy 2024-2034 is now ready and we are seeking input from Richmond residents, parents/guardians, caregivers, and child care providers.

This feedback will help the City understand if the draft strategy will meet current and future child care needs in our community over the next 10 years.


Here's how you can participate:

Focus group for parents, guardians and caregivers to share feedback:

Focus group for child care providers to share information:

Online survey:

  • Open to everyone
  • Deadline for completing the survey is Sunday, August 4, 2024.
